This lesson plan is designed as a companion lesson to our book, Elephant Power. 
This elementary school lesson plan focuses on teaching students about the remarkable characteristics and behaviors of elephants. Introduce students to the two species of elephants - African elephants, and Asian elephants.  Key topics include the elephants' unique physical features such as their large ears, long trunks, and tusks. The lesson also explores the elephants' habitat and conservation status. Through interactive activities students will develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for these magnificent creatures. By the end of the lesson, students will have gained valuable knowledge about the remarkable world of elephants.
